TO COMPLEMENT OUR EXISTING ADVANCED PRODUCTION FACILITY in Dashiqiao, China, we have invested hugely in a new wholly-owned facility in the popular city of Dalian, China. The site is close to a region rich in high quality raw materials.

The facility is fully automated and fitted with highly-advanced equipment dedicated to delivering a consistent supply of refractories. State-of-the-art machinery includes Laeis Bucher Hydraulic presses, Eirich mixers and Nordberg Type crushers.

The site has excellent accessibility to a vast transportation network for export, including the largest container transport base in north China and major railway lines. There is also easy access to the international airport and motorways, and a skilled workforce with global and local knowledge of the refractories, iron and steel industries. The Mayerton-appointed production management team in Dalian will be supported by both Western and Chinese professionals with extensive experience in China.

Our investment in this new facility will meet international quality standards, including ISO 9001 accreditation and ISO 14000 environmental standards.

Further planned phases will see a substantial increase in production, with the installation of additional equipment including hydraulic presses, mixers, crushers and dryers. Land has been set aside for building extensions.
